You are what you eat!. It is simple, without Halal consumption, our worship and supplications are useless. The Prophet (pbuh) in a hadith of Saheeh Muslim talks of the "one who spreads his hands towards the sky (calling), “O my lord, O my lord”, however his food is haram, his drink is haram, his clothes are haram and he has been nourished with haram! So how will his call be answered?” (Muslim)

With the muslim population increasing drasticaly in Canada and across the globe, the demand of halal has also increased. Halal has now become a global market for business and revenue. Muslim & Non Muslim owned and operated manufacturers, outlets and stores all claim to produce halal products. Every other restaurant in the GTA also serves halal on their menus. Muslims must eat halal but are Canadian Muslims really eating halal? Join us in this workshop that will give participants an insight to what really is going on in the Canadian Halal market. Participants will also be made aware of pracitical solutions and procedures that have been put in place to be assured of genuine halal. This workshop will be an interactive session to expand on the importance of halal consumption and the solutions to alleviate the many doubtful issues arising in the halal cautious consumer's diet.
